The Malaysian government is now providing a

RM5,000 Business Digitalisation Grant

for SMEs in the country.

In conjunction with Budget 2020, the government through the Ministry of Finance (MOF) with Bank Simpanan Nasional, SME Bank and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is offering grants to eligible Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) to adopt digitalisation in daily operations.

  • Completed SME Digitalisation Initiative Application Form.
  • A copy of the Identification Card or Passport of Director (s) / Partner (s) / Proprietor(s) of the SME, whichever is applicable;
  • A copy of the SME’s business registration licenses (SSM or any similar forms under the Companies Act 2016);
  • Latest SME’s bank statement (CTC by respective banks) for the last two (2) months & latest audited financial statement (CTC by company secretary) OR latest financial management account (CTC by company secretary);
  • Quotation/invoice for the selected digitalization services from the Service Provider listed by MDEC; and
  • Any other information and documents as and when required by the Bank.
